At Physicians Medical Review, each highly qualified clinical academic expert witness is referred directly to our attorney clients and acts independently of PMR. This allows the attorney to re-engage the academic expert at any point after the initial introduction, without further intercession by or compensation to PMR. They may also utilize the expert witness in other cases that our attorney clients deem appropriate without further compensation to PMR.

This includes critiquing the defense’s independent medical exam and, if appropriate, reviewing an IME video tape of the clinical exam. Our highly specialized, in-house physicians also assist attorneys with demand letters, mediation, and trial preparation.

At Physicians Medical Review, the medical litigation case review services provided by our in-house physician staff includes the thorough analysis of each mass tort case to determine if an attorney’s potential client meets the case’s individual mass tort criteria. Our PMR in-house medical experts assist mass tort attorneys in developing intake questionnaires and analyzing responses. They also determine which medical records are applicable to a particular case. PMR in-house physicians identify the requirements for potential expert witnesses, and refer the highest qualified medical professionals to serve on expert panels.

Nursing Home Abuse

PMR’s in-house physicians provide both plaintiff and defense attorneys involved in nursing home abuse cases with comprehensive medical litigation case reviews and expert witness referral services. Our in-house medical staff determines the medical issues involved, compiles medical records, and prepares attorneys for trials and depositions.
